WD not communicating with VVP - RESOLVED
(1/1)
W7DRM (old call was W3DRM):
My Windows10 computer did an automatic update overnight and now Weather Display is showing all RED in the Data Received and Data Quality indicators. Virtual VP is also showing "Never" for the WD connections. I've made no changes to anything other than the system updating on its own during the night. VP Live is showing current weather data coming in from the ISS so it looks like Weather Display isn't connecting correctly to VVP.
It has been a very long time since I have been through the setup for both WD and VVP and am not certain how to check and adjust those settings, if necessary.
Any suggestions and/or pointers would be appreciated. Guess I'm just getting too old and forgetful in my old age... :(

Okay, it seems to be working again! I found the Comm Port setup in WD was wrong. The TCP/IP Connection setting had been changed from127.0.0.1 Port 5512 to 192.168.0.101 Port 22222.
As I said in my original post, I've made no changes. However Win10 did perform an update overnight which is apparentl˙ when the change took place. Not sure how that happened but it resulted in the loss of connection for Weather Display.
