Topic: Erroneous graphs on WU

All,
  I just had a 62 mph wind gust show up in error on VWS. I have corrected the VWS bin files and my own almanac entries are coorect. However, WU still shows the bad values in their graphs and data..

I am really beggining to wonder if I should go to something else to display historical data. comment? suggetsions?

You can delete the entire data set for that time interval from WU if you wish.  You might have to enable the Entry Deletion "button" at the bottom of your daily data page before you can delete any entries.  I've had instances of -99% humidity before when my Meteohub was temporarily halted that I had to delete.

Then you can the delete the total entry of that point, not just the wind gust. That's how i understand it.

I'm not sure if you delete some erroneous data intervals for a day in the past if the historical records are ever updated to reflect that deleteion.  I corrected my annual Weatherlink rainfall amounts in early July.  Somehow the slight change was registered as a slight rainfall on that day on WU.  Many days later I deleted the WU interval records with the bogus rainfall.  The WU monthly and weekly summaries haven't yet reflected the deletion.

I do know that if you delete the bad data on the day it happens, that the monthly and weekly summaries are corrected.

Saw it should be July 11. but i didn't see the specific file (time) so it maybe therefore i think. I thought it got it's records from those files 

Yes, but you cannot edit it...

It may take a while for a deleted entry to propagate through the historical records and graphs. ... or at least I hope my deletions eventually do.  WU seems to run several days behind when you make a major change, add a new station, etc.

Great  Then it might adjust the graphs to in a bit, if it is like d_l mentioned.
