The 2024 Atlantic Hurricane (as of November 29th, 2024) will end tomorrow. Of course, we can see some post-season activity, but this doesn't happen anyway.

Without further ado:
The 2024 Atlantic Hurricane season was an above average hurricane season, with 19 storms, 18 named storms, 11 hurricanes, and 5 major hurricanes.

Notable Records:


The Name Sara was used for the first time in 12 years, being replaced after Sandy.


Beryl Became the earliest Category 4 and Category 5 Hurricane ever recorded, beating Dennis (Category 4), and Emily (Category 5) both occurring in the 2005 Atlantic Hurricane Season.


The 2024 Atlantic Hurricane Was the Second Costliest Hurricane Season on record, producing $222 Billion in damages. It was just behind 2017.


Milton became one of the strongest Hurricanes in Atlantic Hurricanes on record, being tied third with multiple storms.


The 2024 Atlantic Hurricane Season was the deadliest in 19 years, primarily from Helene, produced over 400 fatalities. The deadliest since hurricane Katrina. [1]
