Liquid Precipitation Column

So attached is a pic of my liquid precipitation column on my home page pennlake.us

I have been meaning to ask this question for years.

in the pic (all in inches)  -- Today  0.25   then Storm Rain 1.48  Yesterday 0.57 then Last 7 days 1.33

Where does the Storm Rain Total come from - from storms throughout the whole month of August?

bucket to begin a storm event and 24 hours without rain to end a storm event.
Press RAINDAY to toggle between the daily rain total and the Rain Storm total. Rain
accumulation may be displayed as either millimeters (mm) or inches (in).
