TWC's version seems to zoom much better than the GE earth one. Its so nice in the lower 48 today, its hard to get a good feel for it 8)

At least for our area, the local.live maps are significantly older than GE, mid 90s, vs 2004, could be 10 years. On each of the photos below, our house is just above the "2006" at the bottom center.

I noticed the Microsoft's maps were much older. My house was moved to its present location January 2005. At least Google maps shows it where it is now just before the roof was replaced in the summer of 2005. Microsoft maps doesn't even show the area being graded, and the subdivision that has been just north of this location for several years barely shows the beginning of a couple dirt streets.
