Topic: Cumulus update 4.5.0

I am attempting to install the latest version upgrading from 4.4.5. Where are the instructions on how to upgrade located? I have downloaded the installation files.

Hi,
With CMX stopped, just copy all unzipped files and folders and paste in your working \CumulusMX folder, accept to replace all files.
Restart CMX.

p.s. Before upgrading I always take a full copy of the live \CumulusMX\ folder and place it in a CMX-backups folder - i.e. \CumulusMX-backups\v4.4.5-b4088\CumulusMX\ just in case!

Thank you for the help. Updated without issues. Some minor bugs, reported at Cumulus. Can not change the shape of the alarm indicators in the AI version.

I use this method
Stop CumulusMX
I create a new directory (e.g \CumulusMX_V_4_4_5) and copy the current MX directory (e.g. \Cumulus_MX) into it.
Then copy the downloaded  updated release.zip into the \Cumulus_MX directory.
Run InstallCMX and follow the prompts.
Start CumulusMX

That alarm shape issue does not occur on my install of this new version. As explained in your other thread on the CumulusMX forum.

I have a second instance of CulumusMX 4.5.0 running (concurrently and in real time) on another computer where I can change the shapes. I copied over the entire CumulusMX folder to the problematic installation (I did not overwrite and both are getting data from the same GW3000) and it did not solve the issue.

Clear your browser cache for the failing install site.

No change. It's not a big issue. Everything else seems to be working. I would think by importing a working copy of CumulusMX it should work the same.
