In the link provided in this message, is a description of how the US EPA has changed the breakpoints for the Air Quality Index calculation. This fundamental change affects how pollutant concentrations are translated to specific AQI values.

The question I have is for those who display their AQI numbers on their websites.

  • Are you aware of this change?
  • How do you plan (if at all) to deal with it?
  • Do you care about the change?

I've sent a note to PurpleAir about this - I did a quick scan of their community forum and couldn't find a reference to this 9 month old change I just learned about myself.
