WXSIM help
Mapantz:
I've asked this before, and never got an answer.
Where in the WXSIM can you set a directory to automatically save the .wxf files after a forecast?
My whole WXSIM folder is full up with them, but I want them in their own folder.
I want to start using Autolearn, but that's proving to be difficult. Not only that, it keeps removing my wret settings for some reason.

Hi Tina,
I could most likely assist, though to busy with family visiting right now.
That being so, I would suggest your best bet would be to either contact Tom direct or post your message on https://discourse.weather-watch.com/c/software/wxsim/29.
You could try Stuart from Broadstairs, Kent, UK (https://www.stella-maris.org.uk/Broadstairs.phtml), also Steve from https://tylertexasweather.com may be able to assist you.
Hope you get it sorted matey.
Kindest Regards,

Hi
I have just wrote a batch files that once you have converted in WRET then WRETMATE. (I use 100 days as the most needed). then the batch file moves then all to another location of mine on a D rive which is used for back.
Thatway it keeps the wxsim folder a little more tidy

So it's not possible to do it natively then? Strange..
I may need someone to assist me in setting up autolearn via AnyDesk, because I have no idea how it works. I keep getting errors and the app shuts down.
Mapantz:
Another gripe about WXSIM - and I've asked Tom about this, and never got a fix for it - Wind speeds are massively exaggerated. No amount of tweaking the settings can change it. I'm tempted to completely remove them from the forecast, because there's no benefit to showing them, other than creating a laugh.
What else.. It was about -1°C the other night, and WXSIM did it's automatic forecast (taking in to account my current data) and it said the overnight low was 2°C. What good is that if it can't even get the current temperature correct?
