I have a similar issue.  I am a current CWOP member (GW4240) and will be moving about 13 miles to a new location.  Will I need to re-register or can I just just change the location data?

You should notify CoCoRaHS so they can assign a new station, and keep your old one associated with it.  About 5 years ago I moved just a few blocks away and CoCoRaHS wanted me to change mine.  I can't recall exactly how or what I had to do but remember it was quite easy - from Can-ON-31 to CAN-ON-784.

Enjoy,
Paul

Yeah, CoCoRaHS wants to keep that Climate Record intact for the previous location, NOAA and Prism Climatology .

I signed up through CWOP and I do not know anything about CoCoRaHS.  Sorry for my ignorance.  Still learning.

It’s understandable to feel a bit unsettled about being offline, especially after so many years of consistent data. You should definitely notify CWOP and Weather Underground about your temporary offline status! They typically appreciate being informed to avoid confusion or miscommunication regarding your station’s data.
