Rules for calculating Current Icon and Current Conditions
(1/1)
iisfaq:
I am looking for info on rules for calculating Current Icon and Current Conditions?
I guess a lot of it depends on things like
* Do you have Solar Radiation Sensors, and what % is happening now?
* Do you use METAR data for clouds etc?
* How the wind affects the temperature
* If it is raining or has recently rained
* Is it day or is it night or dawn or dusk
I guess from these types of questions a simple flow of options could be formulated.
I started to doing this on the weekend on my test site http://weather2.crowe.co.nz for current conditions.
