Can't upload to Weathercloud
« on: December 05, 2017, 01:09:18 PM »
About three weeks ago, figuring WU will be no more in the future, I setup an account on Weathercloud.  After spending a good three hours following their vague instructions and not having any success, I just gave up.  Yesterday I received an email notifying me that I had not linked my station.  I contacted support and they sent detailed instructions.  I followed the instructions to the "T" and still am unable to link my station.  I am using Cumulus 1.9.4 build 1099.

Has anyone else had this problem?  Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, same exact situation as you. Got the same email. My weather cam is linked but no data.

I presume you have Adrian's program running http://sandaysoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=11998&p=103501&hilit=weathercloud#p103501

Mine seems to be working ok http://app.weathercloud.net/d0280022074 but I can't recall what I had to do for the setup as before there was a Cumulus option I had originally signed up for Weathercloud by selecting Weatherlink and when I then actually used Cumulus about a year later I didn't need to make any changes to my Davis device.  Likely just enter the Weathercloud ID and key supplied by them.

p.s. and thanks for posting, it made me look at my site and found my webcam was down #-o

Enjoy,
Paul

The instructions said to check Realtime if your logging interval is greater than ten minutes.  My logging interval was set at 15 minutes, so I naturally checked Realtime.

I just went in and unchecked Realtime and I am now linked and on Weathercloud.

Hi guys,
I'm having issues uploading to weathercloud.
Not sure if i have it set up correctly thou...
local filename is C:\Cumulus\cumulus-weathercloud\weathercloud_realtime_template.txt
Remote filename is C:\Cumulus\cumulus-weathercloud\weathercloud_realtime.txt
I have real time off as I'm logging 1min intervals. Is this all correct?
Looking at the logs it looks like it is sending the same data over and over.
I've tried the setup several times and I am a little lost now. any help would be much appreciated!

I've had luck on and off with  Weathercloud and Cumulus. Once I'm up and running it goes good for a while, however, it goes down if I have a thunderstorm and/or my PC and wifi go down.  Weathercloud will not come back up on it's own. Honestly,  I'm kind of tired messing with it!
