GW2000 rain detected trigger to post on Facebook page
« on: February 11, 2023, 12:02:36 AM »
Hi All
Is it possible to have a script to automatically post to a Facebook page when rain is detected on the wittboy or other ecowitt rain gauge?
This functionality may be possible with IFTTT and Tempest weather station but that station is out of my price range in Australia.
I am open to having to write code and possibley Setup a raspberry pi if needed.

You can do anything you want if you code it yourself.
You would be polling the API on the GW2000 or have the GW2000 post to your own server that would then do whatever magic you wanted to FaceBook.
