Topic: acurite dock not connecting to handheld

My acurite weather radio dock is not showing that it is connected to the handheld device, so the handheld's batteries are being used up in three days instead of using the electric power. What might I do to fix this?

If the connectors are clean and making good contact then I would say the power adapter has gone out .

That could be it. I am getting power to the dock.
