Cant connect to 1400IP receiver

I just installed my brand new 1400IP receiver.  I cannot see the receiver on the network using IP tools – the link light is on, the activity light flashes but that’s it.  I do not see the receiver in the DHCP client list on my router either.

The indoor and outdoor sensor lights also do not come on.

I have tried to reset the receiver with the reset button but nothing happens (perhaps I was resetting it wrong)

Any ideas? (have mailed support but no answer yet)

Press the reset button and wait for the indoor and outdoor lights to light up.

You should be seeing the IP in your router and IP tools should be able to find it.

Check your router logs to see if it requested a ip.

If not then it must be bad.

It was a firmware issue, waiting for an update for some reason
