NEXRAD on Weather Underground broken?
« on: October 10, 2019, 05:29:26 PM »
I haven’t used the NEXRAD radar on WU that much, so excuse me if this issue has already come up. It seems to me that the radar doesn’t know how to zoom in. When I try to zoom into Northern NJ, I get areas in New York or Connecticut. If I try down in South Jersey first, it takes me farther south into Maryland or the Atlantic Ocean when I zoom in for the second time.

I am trying to do this to setup my Saratoga weather template. Does anyone know of any workarounds or alternatives I can use?

Edit: After the 500th try, I was able to get a decent zoom. What a pain.

It's been like that for a while, now.  They totally ignore the DIX radar site.
If it's not a Boerboel it's just a dog.

They pretty much ignore every request. Victoria and her support team are useless at WU. I get fed the same excuse every time I email them. The latest excuse is lack of man power to get things resolved. lol. And no, I will not be using Wundermap. You'd also think they would hire more people if they are that swamped with problems.

There are only a few of us here, and a lot of things to get done.   I'm sorry that we cannot get everything done at once.  I hope you  will continue to be patient with us, or perhaps look at the  Wundermap, which had radar, satallite and a working zoom, too.
