Welcome to the Forum, I'm in south east Bulgaria, where we've just had the coldest nights in living memory, -26.4 C.
The Sofia Echo has a story showing Poland to be even colder.

Hi Karona. In the South Poland is a little warmer as the North - East Poland. There, temperatures reach up to about - 25 C.

What to frost the entire northern hemisphere, I read that the phenomenon el nino.
