Graphing your WD data
« on: October 22, 2009, 04:04:33 PM »
Here is a thread about a program that Windy on the weather-watch forum is creating.

It will make graphs out of your weather data.

That is NOT Brian's program.  SOme Lazlo guy in Hungary or some such place wrote it.  It was previously panned on this forum.  Honestly - those graphics are only so-so at best IMO.  Better than WL, but that ain't saying much.  ;)  Heck Cumulus has better graphics!  Or better yet, get freeware Ploticus and make your own.

If you read through that thread you'll see that although it starts out about a third party program (panned there too) it quickly changes into a thread about new graphing capabilities for WD created by Windy with a download link for a test add-in to WD that does create some sexy graphs.

This looks promising...  =D>

Having graphs is VERY useful!  I thought WD already had this?

With LWC, I use the basic ones here, but there are others similar to what you linked to above.

Here is a shot of my desktop reduced down from 1900x1200.  I've got my EVOcam window covering over additional graphs for Dewpoint and Cloudbase.

I figured that most of you guys have never seen what a Mac based weather software package looks like.  :-)

Oh dear I am not sure if this is a PEBKAC (google it) or a troll or an idiot.
