Pomona portion of Suffern, NY

The snow on my site is more than we have had all winter.  This is the first time in years that I am disappointed - my 3.5-yo daughter would love to go out and play in some.
Hopefully, this spring we will relocate most of the equipment down the pole.  We installed it before I did as much research as I should have.  Getting it down should be interesting - anyone have a "cherry-picker?"

I don't know what it is about your site, but it sucks up about 75% of my cpu on my laptop, with a Pentium M 1.7Ghz and 760MB ram...

I seen that too on my 466Mhz with Firefox.  When I disabled "All Javascript" using my Web Developer plugin the usage dropped back down a fair bit.  Since the clock and snowflakes stopped working I'd guess one of them must be the cause.   :-k

I noticed Firefox doing that on some commercial sites too with the vers 2 upgrade.

Thanks!  It's good to be here!
I have a lot to do, and no time to do any of it :(
I never realized the clock and snowflakes were that much of a hog.  I could get rid of the clock - it is just there for fun, but I like the flakes ;)
I figured it was because I had so many photos...
I'vwe been using firefox, but havent figured out how to use any of the fun gadgets yet; maybe some week when I have nothing else to do (like that'll ever happen :( ...)

I'm getting about 45% cpu on my work computer with IE.

I use FF on home computers...

The photos are static, so no cpu load there... could be the snowflakes...

My CPU ussage goes to the moon when I visit your page. Deffinately have a problem somewhere. You may want to break you main page down. It's way to large. You could place you pictures on a seperate page.

Thanks,
Anthony
