For quite some time I was under the impression, that Alexa could only be used with ambientweather.net und not for Ecowitt
but this turned out to be wrong
Even though there is (not yet) a respective Ecowitt skill available,
you can ask Alexa to display your ecowitt.net device webpage in a browser by help of
either the
URL Switch skill
or the
My Page skill

with the My Page skill it can be a bit tricky as Alexa tends to misunderstand/misinterpret commands
the instruction  proposed by Amazon, e.g. "Alexa, start My Page page one" will not yield the expected result - you end up on a website where some "my page" service or something is shown/offered - but not the Alexa skill
you have to say: "Alexa, start skill My Page page 1" to get the URL displayed you have entered there (10 URLs/pages can be entered in a list)

if e.g. you enter https://www.ecowitt.net/home/index?id=nnnn   (nnnnn = your device id on ecowitt.net), Alexa will display the page in a browser
default is the Silk browser, but other browsers installed can also be chosen.
Needless to say that the Amazon device on which you want to use the My Page skill needs to have a display

I do that with my echo show 10" , just by using the URL for the device.

I really enjoy the Ambient Weather Alexa skill and use it often. There are some improvements I would like to see ... beihg able to ask for a specific measure instead of getting the whole report would be at the top of my list (eg. "Alexa, ask Ambient Weather for the outdoor humidity"). I didn't realize until reading this post that Ecowitt did not have the Alexa skill. I thought I made a mistake going with Ambient instead of Ecowitt because of the price difference and the Ambient restriction on using Ecowitt sensors. But knowing that Ecowitt  doesn't have the Alexa skill, makes me glad I spent the few extra dollars for Ambient.
