« on: February 03, 2023, 11:51:49 AM »
Good day!

For a week now the leak sensor #4 light is turned on on my 2553 display.. the problem is.. I don't have leak sensor hooked-up?!?! Is it a firmware problem? Any of you have encountered the same issue?

Thanks!

Once in a while, Ecowitt/Fine Offset gateways and consoles act as if they get a spurious radio transmission that makes them think there's a sensor within range.  The recommended solution is to disable any unused sensors.  You may have missed the following advice in the MUST READ - Fine Offset Clone Models, sensor compatibility, firmware + other info topic:

It is generally GOOD PRACTICE to actively DISABLE all sensors you do not use with your console (HP2550, GW1x00, WH2650) in the sensorsID section of your console or WS View Plus app in order to avoid wrong registrations. Do not leave the sensor ID entry in "learning" mode.

Hope this helps!

It is not uncommon now, to pick up someone else's sensor. So as previous poster suggested, disable it on your console, along with anything else you are not using.

When it becomes time to add a sensor, re-enable for whatever sensor you are adding.
