gw2000 and hp2550 tft console
« on: January 18, 2023, 04:16:04 AM »
Howdy everyone,
Reasonably new to the scene and had some questions. I originally bought the hp2551 setup with the 7-1 sensor with the screen and indoor sensor with one extra WH32. Ive since wanted to add some soil moisture and temp probes along with some more room sensors. Along with that i got the gw2000. Not realising the gw2000 is basically the console without a screen.
My question is can i some how merge them so i am able to see the gw2000 data on the hp2550 console? Can i get the hp2550 console and gw2000 talking to each other to also increase my range on the sensors (theyre in different places and each picks up some sensors that the other cant reach)

Any advice or help will be very much appreciated

Hi!

No, not in any way.
Both devices are radio receivers, so to speak, which wait for transmissions from the surrounding sensors and display or process this.
But this also means that both GW2000 and HP25xxC see the same sensors and should therefore display the same values.
The only exception is the T/H/P sensor WH32B. This is currently not used by the GW2000. For indoor temperature and humidity as well as air pressure you will have different values.

There is no range extension as with a mesh network - each console is absolutely self-sufficient.
