Here's the answer Ecowitt gave me... #-o say what

Ecowitt
There is special item for Outdoor Temperature, calculating feels like index, dewpoint.
If Outdoor Temperature Coded is false, it would not provide feels like index, dewpoint

I still don't get it. My HP2551C shows me Feelslike and Dewpoint. This is also true for the GW1100.
So what do they mean? Do you understand?

I wonder if they were still attempting to provide feels like and dew point if the outdoor temperature sensor was either not present of not working. I have removed my temp/hum sensor from my WS80 at present while I waited for a replacement from Ecowitt (which has now arrived and is waiting for me to fit it!) and these values show --.- right now. I had not checked before because I don't use this facility much so not sure if there were spurious errors before as I rely on my software for data.

Hi!

Yes, but I wouldn't use that as a sales argument, I would fix the firmware accordingly - because calculating T/H-based values without T/H is a bug.
However, the firmware for GW1100 is identical to GW2000 just as the firmware for HP255C and HP2560C is identical.
Why should there be a bug for one of these devices?
