This has made using the WS View Plus a none working option. Within the wsv+ app if I click on the station it shows data for a second and the jumps back to my devices.

that's the same issue I have with my GW1100 after the upgrade in the WSV+ app - the WSV+ page doesn't stay - usually only a fraction of a second, then sometimes for max 4 seconds.
I've reported this weird behaviour to Ecowitt.
The WebUI works with the restriction that live updates are only every 16 seconds.
Ecowitt promised to reset that WebUI update/refresh to 8 (or 5 seconds, the latter till under consideration) in a coming new firmware release. Same 16 second capping and refresh with the GW2000 since 2.2.5 in the WebUI by the way.

my gw1100 will not update either coming up Check Firmware Fail, tried rebooting and nothing same error

If you have set static IP then change to dhcp and try again, worked for some of us. You can put it back to static once updated.

I am running GW1100 with v2.2.1, and it also has 16 seconds refresh rate on webui live data.

Apparently anyone hasn’t noticed any other problems with this version other than possible issue with wsv+?

anyhow, Ecowitt confirmed that they want to lower the refresh rate of the WebUI to either 8 or 5 seconds in the next firmware upgrade.
