So this issue also appears on Cumulus Forum.......

Overnight we had high winds due to storm Corrie, keen to check the data I noticed unusual / odd / wrong data for Wind from the WS80

I attach screen grab of " Flat Line " showing the errant readings. Temp data from WS80 for same time slot seems OK.

Time frame was from about 10:00pm through to 02:30am.

At all times and from initial setup The GW1100 had all other sensors disabled as previous postings advise.

I was prompted to check data going over to Ecowitt.net and it appears data stopped going to ecowitt.net 27 Jan 2022

After an OFF / ON restart this morning ecowitt.net data started receiving data again

From the start of the setup I had all un-used devices disabled, with only WS80 & WH40

A fellow contributor suggests a regular restart of GW1000.....the unit is 8 weeks old and I will check the firmware version of WS80 soon as I can

I am to understand there are no issues with CumulusMX.........

If anyone has any advice or suggestions please reply

you have several options:
- reset the WS80
- check if the WS80 is on the latest firmware - if it is just 8 weeks old (assuming that "unit" refers to the WS80 and not to the GW1100), it's likely to be the 2nd hardware revision, then the following firmware update would have to be applied:

Many thanks for the prompt reply..........All hardware is 8 weeks old.

Firmware version is GW1100A_V2.0.9

Once the wind dies down  to get to WS80 I'll check and report back.......

Hi Paul. I've the same configuration. Cumulus is not the problem, it just read the data from the network. I think is a power supply problem of the gw1100. Use a good quality ac adapter, 5V 2A should be ok.
