Topic: WS-2000 Rain/Wind Gauges not working

Hey All,
  Installed a new WS-2000 on Christmas Day and have had it operational since, however, noticed today
that the rain and wind gauges weren't working. On the console, the numbers haven't changed...even in 25mph gusts and
with nearly 2" of rain over night. Went up and reset the array and no change this evening. Any suggestions/advice?

Something of note when I toggle to the Max/Min screen, under the portion for hourly/daily/weekly/monthly/yearly rain,
the value shows "0.00 in 1/5/2018 am 4:47". Double checked though that I have the correct date/time set for the system.
Thought that was strange that it doesn't show anything updated. Interestingly, under wind/gust it does show some numbers
on Christmas Day at 4:30PM and nothing since. (0.2mph wind and 1.1mph gust)

sort of standard questions:
- do you have an actual firmware installed on the WS-2000 console ?
- does your outdoor array show in the WS-2000 console (Setup-->More [setup] --> Sensors ID
It should show under WH65, have a device ID/sensor ID and show a transmission received indicator

Maybe a "cold" reset of the array is needed ... (takes up to 2 days but data is transmitted until it resets).
Cover the solar panel with black tape. Remove the batteries. Wait until the LED stops blinking and no more data is transmitted.
(This can take up to 2 days depending of the charging state of the internal super-capacitor). Then re-insert the batteries again
(and remove the black tape from the solar panel  ).

If in spite of actual console firmware and cold reset the array doesn't provide proper readings, have it exchanged with Ambient on warranty. Then the array is faulty. This can happen ...
