AQIN - WH45 equivalent from Ambient Weather
« on: August 16, 2021, 06:08:16 PM »
Hi!

Does anyone already have an AQIN (WH45 equivalent from AW) in operation on their Ambient Weather station? I would be very interested in whether (and how) its values are displayed on ambientweather.net.
Can someone share a link or a screenshot?
Thanks in advance.

Regards, Oliver

Oh this might be the PM25IN, I didn't realize there was an AQIN and a PM25IN.

Hi!

it's so far only an announcement:
It is conceivable. In any case, I have not yet read from any user of this sensor. Hence my request.

It seems the support of the sensor at ambientweather.net is not yet given - at least not on the basis of the available documentation.
The corresponding keys are currently simply ignored on the server.
I can at least have a CO2 bar based on the values of the WH45 appear at "Indoor" (while using different key):

However, this is not the tile I would expect. Now I am wondering whether the documentation is wrong or the web service is not ready yet.

Hi!

Finally, Ambient Weather managed to do it with firmware v4.3.2. The WH45 equivalent AQIN is displayed graphically:

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Here are the corresponding keys:

pm_in_temp_aqin
pm_in_humidity_aqin
pm10_in_aqin
pm10_in_24h_aqin
pm25_in_aqin
pm25_in_24h_aqin
co2_in_aqin
co2_in_24h_aqin
aqi_pm25_aqin
aqi_pm25_24h_aqin
batt_co2

With the next public beta v0.0.9 of FOSHKplugin these keys will now also be transferred.
If you need it earlier, please let me know!

Hi!

Does anyone already have an AQIN (WH45 equivalent from AW) in operation on their Ambient Weather station?
Would be nice if you could use the EAR service to show how Ambient is coding the battery value for this sensor. Normally Ambient Weather uses a "1" for OK and a "0" for LOW - but with this sensor it could be different.
Anybody?
Thanks!

Oliver

AQIN via GW1100, Ecowitt format:
tf_co2       67.5
humi_co2       54
pm25_co2       1.1
pm25_24h_co2       1.2
pm10_co2       1.6
pm10_24h_co2       2.0
co2       765
co2_24h       781

co2_batt       6

This is plugged in to the outlet with batteries installed.

Unplugged with fresh bats:
co2_batt       5

Hi!

AQIN via GW1100, Ecowitt format:
Thank you very much for that.
Can you perhaps do the same again via a station of Ambient Weather (and thus in Ambient Weather format)? On the GW1100, of course, the AQIN behaves exactly like a WH45.
It would be interesting for me (and perhaps for others) to see what the data sent in Ambient Weather format looks like.
Especially with the battery values, surprises are not unlikely.
Thank you!

Oliver

WS2000 in Ambient format. (In case anyone cares, the default path on this is "/weatherstation/updateweatherstation.php?", but I changed it to the ear required one.)

pm_in_temp_aqin       67.6
pm_in_humidity_aqin       53
pm10_in_aqin       2.4
pm10_in_24h_aqin       2.1
pm25_in_aqin       1.5
pm25_in_24h_aqin       1.3
co2_in_aqin       702
co2_in_24h_aqin       744
aqi_pm25_aqin       6
aqi_pm25_24h_aqin       5
batt_co2       1

With or without power supply it's a 1.

BTW, I like the warnings at the bottom of the report --- helped me fix two other issues I had with some other sensors.
Ambient Consoles: WS-2000, WS-1900, WS-1200, WS-2902C, WS-3000-X3, WS-0900-IP(observerIP), WS-1001-WIFI

WS2000 in Ambient format.
Thank you for providing the data. Then I have probably implemented the handling of the AQIN correctly in FOSHKplugin now.
The path "/weatherstation/updateweatherstation.php?" is also supported by EAR - so you don't necessarily have to change it.
Otherwise, I am of course pleased that the hints at the bottom of the report have provided you with added value. I had been thinking for a long time about what helpful information could be output there. If anyone has any further ideas, please let me know!

BTW:
The warning by email in case of too high (set) CO2 amount on the part of Ambient Weather now also works without restrictions.
The corresponding field for CO2 was there until recently, but could not be selected.
Now it works!

Oliver
