Connecting to WOW site
« on: September 02, 2019, 03:37:46 PM »
I have recently installed WiFi logger in DI Envoy and set up to my network and thus internet.

I can get to see what appears to be summary page of Weatherlink 6.0.3 but several elements are missing when looking at real-time data panel (Green header to page).  Such things as outside temperature. How do I troubleshoot this.

I have also inserted site ID and PIN into the WOW page in export data panel in setup.

What have I missed and how do I establish if data has been transmitted as Met Office receive nothing.

Help?

I went round in circles with this for a while, till I realised I was entering in my user ID instead of my site ID..

However, you do also have to configure Section 4 to say what data you're sending

Not sure what you are saying regarding WeatherLink, but as for WOW this happened to me....

On the main page where there is a drop down titled "Select your site", somehow two identical entries where showing.  I selected the entry that wasn't already highlighted and everything started working.

Thanksfor the step by step but I have this data already in the WiFiLogger Export Settings.

I assume the authentication Key is the site PIN in export settings

Do you have readings from outside temperature on console?
It behave like there is no temp sensor.

Authentication Key is the PIN. I don't know why I have used this PIN name, maybe it was PIN, but WOW has change page?

If you don't have outside temp sensor readings, then WOW can not accept incoming data.
Some services works like this.

Yes, but to WOW is exported real time data, this data which you can read on console and first page of WiFiLogger
Please start buletin in WeatherLink and check on this white table if there you have temp out.

SETUP -> SYSTEM

This case is weird. It looks like there is no outside temp readings.
You have only one Davis station at home? There is no way, thay WeatherLink is reading other console?

So probably here is a problem, but I don't know how to repair it now.
WiFiLogger is reading WIND station not ISS.

I don't have this setup and home to check it. I will ask some friends for help.
In general there should be no problem at all. WiFiLogger is reading full set of data.
Mistery.

Could having wind listed first be messing with the way WFL is reading the data?

I notice that I have ISS as Station No.1 and wind as Station No. 2.
