I got a little moisture at my station, bvstation. The rain appears to be resetting itself on my setup. Have you re-powered your Hub?

Yes I've power cycled it 3 times, once again last night to test.
Yank cord - wait 2 minutes and plug back in.

As of this morning it reports 1.78 inches of rain and we have had none since mid day yesterday.
Table top screen shows 0.0

Pour a little water into the 5in1 and see what happens.

Yeah check this out - I just posted this same image on the other thread you replied to.
I changed batteries in the sensor outside earlier around this time with a fresh set and look.
Weird how it did that to the smarthub and not the on table screen.

Ohh and it rained like crazy last night at least .40 so thats why it went up to 2.09

I loaded up Kevin's new build on a Win 10 desktop, and it seems to be working well with my hub. I'm only reporting to PWS at this point, and you can view it at https://www.pwsweather.com/obs/KTXUPATTO2.html. It took a while to get the bridging working, but I lay that at Microsoft's feet, it always seems to be a crap shoot how easy it is.

UPDATE:  A couple of hours after I typed this message, the bridging connection started going haywire, so the PWS link is likely showing fragmented data.

I'm firing up an old XP Toughbook CF-71 as a permanent dedicated host for the system. That will give the system stability as Microsoft won't be shoving updates down my throat and causing interruptions.

Thanks to Kevin for his efforts!  =D> I wonder if he has a Patreon account?

Hi everyone,

I just got back from camping and doing photo shoots in the desert the last several days. Anyone still having issues with the rain data, etc? If so, I can look into it this weekend. It seems it's working fine for some and not for others?

I think I fixed my issue with wind... had it set to 0 offset for some reason - put back to 100 and I think all fine.
Thanks for checking

I have noticed that my daily rainfall total has been sitting at .84" as mentioned previously.  I've tried deleting the rainfall.xml file, but each time it regenerates it goes back to the .84". [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

I am still using the MyAcurite app (I did break down and bought an Access when the software stopped working at the beginning of the month).  The MyAcurite app doesn't show this rainfall amount.  I was wondering if somewhere in the programming that creates the rainfall.xml file if the .84 is programmed in.  Is this the number everyone else is seeing who has reported this?

Anyway, I am super happy to be up and broadcasting again since Kevin did the mid-month release to get around Acurite's server shutdown.

I believe I replaced the batteries in my gauge and that fixed my rainfall issue.
Try that.

I was experiencing the same thing when I setup my bridged connection originally.  I discovered that setting a static IP address for the bridge has allowed it to work happily and not have me get it working and wonder what happened an hour later.

Hope this works for you!

I am an idiot.  I got to my weather station and discovered it had been bumped just enough to where it was no longer sitting level on its post.  As soon as I leveled it with my hand, my .84" of water came out of the bottom.  I did pull and reinsert the batteries just to do it while I was out there.  When I got back inside, my daily rainfall rate was then reading 0 again.    Thank you for the suggestion.

Mine stopped sending data again at around noon today but I'm not sure if it just needs the gauge reset again.
Do you think they bricked them on purpose?

Mine is dead as well. I would lay odds that Aurite pushed out another update to the hub to cripple them so we can no longer use them at all.(just my opinion) I have tried to access the hub locally to see if the firmware had changed, but I can not even do that now. Goodbye Acurite or should I say AcuWrong!

Why did the 3rd party solutions quite working if they did nothing? Like I said, I can't even log onto it locally to see the status.

I can see my splash page, but the sensors are not being picked up by the hub. I think the hub was bricked as well, since everyone's stopped working at the same general time.

Who is everyone?  I'm not seeing anyone talking of them all going down anywhere.

Some kind of signal was sent to the hub from Acurite, or either acurite disconnected something that the hub was still able to talk to. No other explanation makes sense. I think mine is rebooting over and over now but the lights in the back are still on.

Mine stopped working yesterday as well...  I thought something was up with my home network and was troubleshooting the bridged connection all night.  I want to say around 11:14 am ventral is when my last reading posted.

It looks like they changed the IP address of hubapi.myacurite.com to 127.0.0.1.

If you can change that in your local DNS to some other web server, that might clear it.
