Very difficult question!
The new weather station La Crosse 3650 works very will (data transition each second) but I have a problem with the Thermo-Hygro-sensor! The old one (ws3600) was with wider plastic windows , the new one come with very narrow shutter between these windows, the temperature during the night with the old sensor less in 0.3 to 0.5 degrees in Celsius! And during the day hours even more about one degree! Note; both are in SRS 100 radiation shield in the same place exactly! Can I remove these shutter witch are between the windows (to make it like the old one?) or it may be damaged? It could be that the new one is the correct (personally I don’t think that) do you have any idea please.

Andrea, can you explain what you mean by windows and shutters please? If you are talking about the vents in the plastic case for the temp/hygro sensor then I would definately not break anything off it. The newer and different model stations may use different electronic sensors inside and the case "vents" are designed for these sensors. Plus you open doors for small spiders and insects.
If you have a regular mercury thermometer you could place it next to the sensor and compare for a day and see what your sensor is detecting? This will also check how accurate the new sensor is.

 You can put out the (hat) from sensor in your radiation shield because the protect hat 3650 it is more smaller, for this reason you have +1 c from 3600 .

Do you can to show me with a picture your radiation shield SRS 100 ?

Dan the mercury thermometer is very different (higher in 3 degrees) of both sensors, because it’s not inside radiation shield and during the night sure it will be colder than both. Anyway 0.3 to 0.5 degrees in Celsius it’s not big problem.

I had removed the hat' it's inside large standard vantalated radiation shield (SRS 100 XL )
as I said it's not big deal 0.5 degrees

Anyway ,Andrea from sensors to sensors, there is a little different some times 0,5 c ,it is not many different .
Your radiation shield it have inside and fan ? (vedilator) ,if not maybe the summer time you have problem with + 2 c + 3 c more because my areas it is near ,i am from Athens and i had experiment with radiation shield and with /without fan and the summer time with more hot and low winds ,the radiation shiel with out fan it show + 2 c  + 3 c more ,from the other wiht fan.
