New WS-1001 Station
« on: November 11, 2015, 09:59:15 PM »
My 15 year old Davis Vantage Pro has been really acting up this year, so I just replaced it with the WS-1001. So far, so good. I really like the console display and that it doesn't require a full time computer to send info to WX Underground. Wish I could connect it up to APRS though.

Station is at http://www.wunderground.com/personal-weather-station/dashboard?ID=KTXDALLA43

Hello,

In case you didn't see the forum post there are several ways to connect the WS1001 to APRS and other weather networks.

http://www.wxforum.net/index.php?topic=24365.0

You need to add the IPObserver module and Meteobridge (Weatherbridge) or Airbridge method.
