WS-1000/1001 Sensor Failure
« on: October 08, 2015, 04:12:58 PM »
Well, after only 15 months, it seems the temperature sensor/hygrometer on my WS-1000 has failed. During the last month or so, it started reporting higher-than-actual  temperatures and humidity, mainly at night, to the point where WU QC had begin to flag me and drop me from the map. I received the new unit yesterday and replaced it and now all is once again well. Disappointing though that the sensor only lasted just over a year. The upside is that now my WS-1001 console is displaying the correct UV index. I guess the original sensor, purchased as a WS-1000, did not transmit the UV index.
