Hi, I have to thank Brian, I upgraded with software modified by him my HP1003 weather station, upgrade went perfectly well and now my station displays in its display the new layout, so I recommend to those who have this station model, to upgrade by minisd, important to change the update number (example from 1.1.2 to 1.1.3 on main.ini and update.ini files). As soon as I can post a photo.

yes, increasing the version number in those 2 ini files on the SDcard triggers it to the update

Let me see if I got this correct. If you are going to be doing this via USB all you have to do is drag the "Themes" folder over to the firmware that's on the console? No need to edit any files on the console before/after doing so correct? Then just restart the console and you're on your way?

yes its really that simple and easy , we are simply replacing the image file and font files no need to edit anything in terms of firmware files.

i updated the download which now includes a PSD file for those who want to do there own custom screens layout.

I was able to update my Ambient Weather WS1001, but the weather icons are not displaying. All I see are the graphs when I hit the "graph" button?

hi you need to edit the main.ini file change the GraphApi=false to GraphApi=true

unfortunately not it is based on similar traditional barometric changes its not really good for actual weather outside your window currently.

I'm planning on doing this update...this thing looks beautiful.  I had a few questions.  Are the charts etc still accessible once you do the mod?

My Gad its so cute, and its user friendly. Thank You for this, it helps viewing on iphones and android mobile phones (im currently stydying this more) and im looking to change the pointer for wind direction, intead of circle, I will change it into arrow point for a nice view of wind direction pointer, also, I want to change its regional earthquakes that points 1500KM from my location radius. I wish I could had the WS-1001 now
