I would be interested as well and the question would be what is the asking price? I'd never tell anyone what I'm "willing to spend" before getting a price, it'd be like telling a bank you're going to rob them, call the cops first lol.

I only ask because I have no idea what they are worth. I may just put them up on ebay.

Why?  Why would anyone buy a Nimbus?  I have a NWS Co-Op station with a Nimbus MMTS and I'm required to report temperatures that it provides.  I have no confidence in the Nimbus temperature.  Mine failed yesterday.  The cable connector at the sensor increased resistance and caused a low temperature reading.  The cable connectors are poor quality and must be taped to prevent them from falling out of the connector.  I'm glad to have the Davis VP2+ as back-up when I see doubtful temperature data on the Nimbus.  Note below the MMTS failed from 1100 to 1400 hrs
atd2          TIME   MMTS       Davis VP2+

06/02/15,13:00, 32.8           82.3

Do those PL units use the 1/8" phono plug for the sensor connector? My Nimbus Ultra does and it's a pain to get out.

The NWS version that I have uses an A-MP circular 1/2 inch 3 pin plastic connector.  Squeeze to remove the cable from the sensor or the display.

I've seen that connector. Very loose. I don't know why the NWS went with the PL when the Ultra was a much better unit. Mine is still in use and it's 20 years old. I don't like that the only power source for the Ultra is batteries. That's probably why they went with the PL. If you are grabbing 1 minute data off it, the four C batteries will last 3 weeks tops.  :-x

Can you post photos of the indoor and outdoor units and I'll consider making an offer. Thank you.
