Meteobridge with Acurite
« on: January 12, 2014, 12:29:22 AM »
Hi,

I'm checking the HW for Meteobridge for Acurite and need some info about the 'not capable for driving USB 1.1 devices'.  Is this mean the bridge cannot connect to WX USB console without USB 2 hub in between or it cannot provide power for the console?   So that I know what to prepare to setup this with 1525.

Thanks

The USB hub is needed for translation of data protocols and does have nothing to do with powering something.

OK I've got it.  Got a small Belkin USB hub in between.  Now testing WX Station IPATHUMT2 with Meteobridge.

Thanks
