Here is my little contribution to the world of weather station websites.
http://www.bellmereweather.netI have had a La Crosse WS-2310 weather station (git it on eBay) for 18 months and I have been collecting the data into a MS SQL server database since I set it up. A couple of months ago my mother-in-law visited us in Australia for 6 weeks (YES 6 WEEKS!), so I hid in the study, pretended to be working and created the website.
The receiver is connected to an HP Proliant server with automatic imports from the La Crosse software into a SQL Express database every two minutes. Two minute data is stored for one day, however five minute readings are kept for historical reporting and are manually imported to the main database every couple of days.
There is also a webcam (Logitech QuickCam looking though a pair of polarising sunglasses) pointing to the west to capture the sunsets.
