WS-2080 and gale wind
« on: December 12, 2012, 01:17:44 AM »
it was interesting to see how WS-2080 acting in gale wind event where average wind speed 60-80 KM/hour with gust around 90 KM/Hour with short heavy rain periods, all weather elements (temperature ,rain and wind..etc) recorded perfectly by comparing it with official station in the area the accuracy of reading came by following these nice threads here

Sounds like you had a good anemometer/vane test with those wind speeds! 90 Km/h is a pretty healthy gust. Glad it all stayed up. ;)

That's good to hear, I have the same WS set up for about 10 days and am awaiting some strong winds to compare with the local/official weather service.

another strong gale wind and heavy rain and hail storms and ws-2080 behaving very well with gust 105 KM/Hour , the lithium batteries are doing very good in severe conditions not signal loss at all
