I just got a Davis Vantage Vue and have not finished setting up everything. I am still working on the weather logger substitute cable described by DeKay and I have not determined what computer to run things on. Just to get some experience I have my laptop running an old logitech web cam, the ball on a flat base kind and it does not give much of a picture 350 x something resolution. I will pick up something that can do 640x480 later. I do not want to dedicate my laptop to the weather station and camera as I want to take it with me when I travel. I have considered a netbook for this use, this one in particular
