Cool tower - now don't laugh, but how did you position the anemometer but more so, how do (would) you do any maintenance/repair?  I would think the tower is a bit heavy to take down (and how do you do that).

Well me and my son set it up. I had marked a leg to face north and set the concrete base that way. The wind indicator was lined up in the ground and put on tower before we raised it. It slides down into pipes set in the concrete. It's about a 4" lift to drop it into the pipes. The cabling is inside a leg coming down the tower to protect it. It will take 2 grown men to take it down, but if I have to take it down, I'll put it on a tilt up so 1 person can do it. The temp and rain are well low enough to reach.

Bill..I think you did an EXCELLENT job in putting this thing up!  It inspires me to do the same! :)

Bought it off a guy in KY. He was using it for TV and no longer needed it.
