I discovered the reason for the slow updating of the outdoor temp/hum data
it was because that data was being appended on to the end of other data, and I was missing it!
So, use this updated separately running wmr100/200 .exe program
http://www.weather-display.com/downloadfiles/wmr100.zipand in WD set the channel number to use for outdoor temp/hum in the weather station type setup or in the view, wmr969/wmr100/200 extra sensor to 0 (default)
Sorry for the frustration this has caused everyone (and sorry I at first thought it was a hardware problem)
