Title: CoCoRAHS Stalagmite

My CoCoRAHS gauge had a 3/4" stalagmite this morning.  Rain yesterday morning followed by a deep freeze.

I wonder if this is similar to an "Ice Spike (https://www.its.caltech.edu/~atomic/snowcrystals/icespikes/icespikes.htm)"...
