What is the firmware level in your console ? I had the same thing until I updated the firmware to the most recent version.

This should sort it out for you:

If your VP2 firmware is dated before November 2005 then regrettably you are effectively stuck with that version.
does that mean i dont have a chance?
My console: jan 4 2005

It would seem clear to me.
To your original query. This is a recent malfunction? Did you update your Logger firmware?

WiFiLogger2 2.36

Its not the logger firmware.. its the console. Call Davis support. The can help you.
I had the exact same problem and it was the okd firmware in the console. An update fixed it.

Please can people stop saying this when replying to posters based outside the US. Davis support will always try to help by email or phone wherever you are. But for physical repairs and the like you will typically get referred to a local dealer. And for an issue like this (ie updating the firmware in a 2005 vintage console) they probably won't be able to help. You might strike lucky if someone still has access to a 6311VP2 updater, but it's not very likely.

I believe your best option is to replace the circuit board of your console with the current version. It’s available from an eBay seller in the UK and can be replaced without any soldering involved just removing some screws and disconnecting the ribbon cable to the screen from the old circuit board and reconnecting it to the new circuit board.
It’s eBay item 193227173609.

Davis Vantage Vue console wireless PCB (UK / EU version) 7345.911
Is this the right one? to 99.00 GBP

Sorry, my mistake. That one is for the Vantage Vue, not the Vantage Pro 2. Here’s the link to purchase the current replacement https://weatherspares.co.uk/products/304.it’s quite a bit more expensive. I checked with weatherspares and unfortunately, it’s not compatible with the display of your older model Vantage Pro 2.
I think your only option now is to purchase a Current model EU version of a Vantage Vue Console ( here’s the link https://weatherspares.co.uk/collections/davis-instruments-accessories/products/336 ) or Vantage Pro 2 Console ( here’s the link https://weatherspares.co.uk/collections/davis-instruments-accessories/products/195 ) or replace both the circuit board and display of your Vantage Pro 2 with current models. Here’s the link to purchase the display. https://weatherspares.co.uk/collections/davis-console-parts/products/191.
If you purchase the Vantage Vue Console you can install your WiFi Logger 2 in it and still use your older Vantage Pro 2 console as your ISS will transmit to both consoles.
Good luck. Contact Weatherspares if you have any questions.

Thank you =D>. I will consider what I want to do

Here’s a UK/EU model ( manufactured in 2007 so only upgradeable to firmware 3.0 but which works just fine with WiFi logger ) listed on eBay. The asking price is way too high but there is an offer option.
