Title: WS 2080 wind speed calibration?
Post by: waterjar on September 15, 2015, 10:40:08 AM
I haven't seen this issue in the posts but maybe I missed it. It is my understanding that the calibration mode indicated in the manual is not accessible for the 2080. IE there is no ADJ icon. Ambient has yet to respond to my dilemma and I would like to know if there is an alternate way to calibrate? I think I've tried every way possible, including PC. Getting ready to pitch it and try another brand.

You need to press and hold the On/Off button (in the front right of console). Hold it for about 5 seconds until you see a value flashing in the wind section (it will usually be 1.00). Then use the up and down arrows to either calibrate it for lower or higher. You have a range of 0.75 to 1.25 for your calibration.

Once you select what you want, simply hit "enter" to calibrate another field (outside/inside temp/RH) or to exit the calibration mode.
