I got a midland wr-120ez and a radio shack 12-519

Do the Radio Shack weather cubes still work or have the frequencies changed ?

Frequency has changed in years.  A local station could have changed if they are overlapping with a nearby one.  But that's about it.  So even a 10+ year old radio will probably still work.  It might not support some of the SAME code warnings and such.  But you'd still be able to hear the channel.
