Weather34 Updated Template
« on: May 22, 2024, 12:58:25 AM »
I installed Meteobridge on my Raspberry Pi 4 and use the Weather34 dashboard, love the design, but I've seen a few dashboards with charts in each widget. How do I get to show charts for my dashboard?

Here's an example of how I'd like my Weather34 dashboard to look like - https://singaporeweather.info/weather34-os2-tablet.php

Thank you.

weather34 aurora downloads to get latest master version or simple updates are all now done in the meteobridge admin panel . latest version will give you a total of 9 different themes and an apple watch layout(includes the one your looking for or mentioned) . all themes are selectable via the template menu and in the template admin screen . you can choose which theme you wish to have as default .

Thanks Brian for the detailed info.

I’m assuming I just download the master file to my computer and then in the template admin screen at the bottom of the page, I can click the update button and point it to the downloaded file.

Also, do I need the simple update file too?

good evening yes download the master(never use the master  for updates always use the simple update files). the current master (April 2024) has all the updated files .the simple update files you apply(template admin screen) thereafter in the future i.e there is a pending May 2024 update due for release that just adds additional lightning sensor functions and a few changes for PHP 8.3.7 release (nothing significant).

need help feel free to get in touch .

I checked with Boris and he mentioned that the Aurora Dashboard on meteobridge is a downstripped and non-updatable version. To use the updatable Aurora Template, it has to be hosted on the internet on a server.

Next steps are, I'll try hosting it on my local machine (any tips?) as I'll be using it on an old iPad air locally.

Thank you weather34 for all your assistance.

good evening

internal slim version is only updated as and when Boris requests , i don't have any control over the internal versions i just send along whatever is requested..

i use a local server for many many years for developing just simply sniff out your local host/server ip  so meteobridge can see it and can send the data too .
its quite easy to maintain really ,the setup can be a learning curve but once done just use it ,but remember its not public only for your eyes. that said i cant help much on setting one up simply not around much these days and at a guess our timezones are vastly different your awake I'm in bed  ...

have a nice weekend..brian
