Yesterday I noticed Weatherlink.com was not displaying my data.  iPhone app was okay. Today all looks okay:

Thanks @kobuki - no, I've never had to disassemble mine. I've only replaced the cover with the solar panel. Good information.

ok, good job, update the ws90 to the latest firmware version, then do the calibration with the CAL button in a room, without wind, then re-install everything outside and let us know how it goes

I never calibrated my ws90, but it does go to zero when there is absolutely no wind.

Upgrading the firmware will make all the data I've got so far essentially useless so unless there is something wrong I know this will fix with the sensor I'm reluctant to upgrade.

The change log says there is "enhanced accuracy" and "wind sensor optimisation". What I'm seeing is does not look like inaccuracy, it is an almost constant offset of 0.9 to 1.3 m/s.

I started this thread to find out if this is what these sensors do... Maybe this is caused by the rotating sensor inertia and high end ultrasonic sensors compensate for it?

Unless someone here has a WS90 and a ws68 (or another rotating sensor). I doubt we'll know.

Hi!

Which one are you running the schedule on Oliver ?
I have this timer active on all compatible consoles available here: HP3501C, HP2551C, WS3800C, WS3910C, WN1980C.
Unfortunately, the WS2910C and the WN1900C as well as the old WH2626 do not support this function.
At least on the WS2910C I would have expected this feature.

I think you are missing the point of the context of the post ...
Maybe read it again from the beginning.
While the advice might be good in a general context, it might not really be in this case.

Hello! I am very interested to hear your opinion about working in 4G mode. I am planning to make a weather station located far from the city. There is direct visibility and a signal from a cell tower.

Decided to get the WS3800, as I'll be able to read results during the day without a backlight. If I can't read the display in the evenings from normal room lighting, then I'll schedule the backlight to turn on for a couple of hours.

Have placed my order and looking forward to it arriving. Thanks for your help Oliver!

WeatherUnderground / iOS App Premium Question
« Last post by parkernathan on Yesterday at 06:42:07 PM »
Is there a way to use our free premium we get with our PWS accounts login from Wunderground.com in the WU iOS app, or did they remove the feature and make everyone pay extra for Premium for iOS?

I'm playing around with the app. I can't find a way to pull in my Wunderground.com free premium as a PWS owner. Only a way to pay for it.

Thanks!
