I just noticed that the NWS is now displaying SLP in millibars vs inHg. AFAIC, should have been this way all along.

Thank you. Very useful to check out METARS too.

 ..developing a theory that NOAA/NWS/MesoWest have issues with ingesting data from international sources, i.e; imperial to metric, metric to imperial.
conversion errors? especially with station pressure and altimeter. SLP seems OK.
