"Current" box in lower right side of Cumulus Window
« on: December 27, 2015, 07:28:42 AM »
When "Configuration":"Display Settings":"Show Current Conditions" box is checked, a writable "Current" field is displayed on the right bottom of the Cumulus window.

Does the message that is typed in there show up or get posted anywhere?  What do you guys use it for, if you use it at all?

The text you type in "Current :" box can be displayed in your webpage via the webtag <#currcond>

I use it to inform my visitors about the status of the station and website. At the bottom of my main webpage, you will usually read in Additional informations : RAS meaning "Rien à signaler" ie "Everything is OK". Otherwise, I type a message when there is a problem or when I add some features to the website.

I use the Current conditions box to enter the actual snowfall the past day and include that <#currcond> webtag in my index.htm to display on website
