ferrite antenas

Hi iv

Got a red blitzortung lighting detector what I need to know which wire goes to what terminal because they are not marked On the ferrite antenas.

Any help would be appreciated.

Doesn't really matter, Andy... one way the signal come in reversed from the other, and that doesn't matter the way this system works.  Ant A goes to top two block terminals, B goes to Bottom 2 terminals...

Thank you for that but how come one antenna as a higher gain than the other and i cannot get rid of noise.iv tried grounding the controller.

my detector is in the bedroom connected to a laptop computer tried battery only but the noise is still there.also have a router extender plugged in tried with that off to but still no joy.

This is what i'm set at

For one thing, I would recommend a different gain strategy.

You do not want to have higher gain in the 2nd stage than the first. The higher gain number should always be in the first amplifier. All amplifiers have inherent noise, you are amplifying the noise of the first amp stage by 32.

I would at least reverse the order to 32x2, 16x4 might be a better starting point.

Please post a screen capture of your noise floor on the Signals tab of the controller GUI, in addition to your station number.
