Topic: Help with 5-1 monitor

Powered up my monitor and it will not go past the start up page. Just get a view of blue skies and a grassy hill. I have unplugged it from 5 min to 1 day but once plugged in it immediately goes to this picture with Acu-Rite across the screen. I have tried several combinations of holding down the buttons on the front panel with no change. Any suggustions or am I just out of luck. Here is a link to the monitor I have.

I have the same problem with same monitor. I guest it bit the dust.

Well I was hoping for a miracle fix. I chatted with Acurite support and they said the same thing as in just buy another one. It seem like these upper $200 systems from Acurite only last a couple of years or at least that has been my experience as I am on my third. I am not sure I am going to replace it as much as I enjoy having a weather station is seems to much like I am just flushing my hard earned monies. Maybe I will just go back to looking out the window for my weather!

You can always use a tablet as a weather station monitor. I wrote this article awhile ago that may give you some inspiration.
