PWT suddenly stopped working... it's been sitting here on my desk working perfectly for months. Then at 6:30 yesterday morning, it suddenly stopped receiving data. Ecowitt.net is still getting data from my GW1000, so it's not that.

I've rebooted the tablet a few times, unplugged and replugged the GW1000 a few times. I've checked the router and none of the IP addresses have changed. Any suggestions?

Do you have the latest GW1000 firmware installed ? (1.7.5)

.de is correct - corrected in my earlier post
the other I cannot tell as the site shows the text in the language which corresponds to my locale
and anyhow WS View Plus should be the app of choice and no longer the legacy WS View app

Thanks for the thoughts. I am running the 1.7.5 firmware. It seems to be reporting to the autoresponder (last lines below).

I do struggle to connect to it through my local network on WS View. If I want to access the configuration, I have to turn on the internal wifi server. If I try to connect directly through the web browser to its IP address, I get "Refused to connect" but I can ping it, so it is active.

Hi!

This sounds like a problem of your internet router/firewall.
Some routers have a setting option to activate network access in the internal network. Without this setting, the devices in question can communicate with the outside - with the Internet. However, they cannot communicate with other devices in the internal network.
In any case, I would check the settings on the router. Because basically - to the outside - everything works.
Perhaps a user can help you if you tell us which router you are using.

Thanks! Yes, I had a bunch of problems when I first got a new router (ASUS RT-AX88U). But eventually I got it all sorted and it was working fine for months. Until yesterday when it just stopped.

Good point about the isolation within the LAN. I think I found a setting like that, but it was turned off. Would love to know if others have had this problem.

UPDATE: I never truly figured out why I got this problem, but based on these suggestions I set up a separate guest network within my router (only enabled the 2.4 Ghz band), put both the tablet and the GW1000 on it, and now everything is working.

is it possible to have multiple temperature/humidity data in one graph (with different colors)? It would be also good, if I can set the Y step of the graph (it's too tight for me know on a 10" tablet)

That was to be expected. Sadly.
Now Personal Weather Tablet (PWT) has disappeared from the Play Store - so it can no longer be downloaded and installed.

Unfortunately the author of PWT @Da9L has not responded to any of my enquiries (over years!). He hasn't been here in the forum for a very long time either. I hope he's well.
So we have to assume that that's it for this great programme.

Surely you could install PWT via sideload - if you have the APK for it. Unfortunately, I cannot assess the legal situation as to what extent someone is allowed to offer the APK for download. Also, and above all, because it is/was actually a paid app. Of course, this also makes (prevents?) the search for the APK more difficult.
But maybe someone can still find the APK for download somewhere on the net?

Perhaps someone would like to try their hand at a new development? I see a market.
